Preparing For a Career in Education

Bethany Bryner is a 2008 graduate of Lorain County Early College High School, the inaugural class of the school. We checked in with her to see what she’s up to now!

After graduation, I moved to Lima, Ohio, to attend The Ohio State University (OSU) at Lima campus where I studied pre-nursing. After a year there, I moved to Columbus where I continued going to OSU at their main campus. I graduated from OSU in March 2012 with my Bachelor’s in Speech & Hearing Science.

I am still living in Columbus and am now attending Ashland University Columbus Campus. I will graduate in May 2016 with my Teaching License in Special Education. Hopefully, next fall I will have a teaching job in an elementary school.
