I would like to extend admiration, respect and congratulations to the faculty, staff and students at Youngstown Early College for earning the designation of Bronze Medal winner in U.S. News’ annual Best High Schools list, again. In Youngstown Early College makes national merit list, WFMJ Producer Cristen Manion shares some data points about the school and positive comments from staff, making it easy to recognize that Youngstown Early College is helping to create a future with high quality education for all students.
I’ve seen these successes firsthand through KnowledgeWorks partners in the Ohio Early College Association (OECA), of which Youngstown Early College is a member. For instance, during the 2016-2017 school year, students at OECA member schools earned 25,948 transferrable college credits, at no addition cost to students and their family.
Early colleges like Youngstown Early College are putting students on the fast track to success. Read more about Youngstown Early College’s new U.S. News designation.
