As director of policy in practice, Kyle leads the continued development and implementation of our policy in practice work, including refining service offerings, managing work across geographies and evolving our client-facing approach to policy implementation.

My aim is to empower all educators to view themselves as leaders of systems-level change.

Kyle has worked in a range of contexts on supporting widespread application of education initiatives which has fueled my interest in finding ways to motivate and empower educators and leaders to engage in change efforts. Kyle earned his EdD with a focus on autonomy-supportive environments and their impact on teacher agency and the collaborative culture of arts education networks. Prior to that, Kyle was an arts educator in Nashville Public Schools and Fairfax County, Virginia.

An avid runner, Kyle loves picking up new hobbies and learning new skills, which usually includes finding a new musical instrument to learn.
