My aim is to empower all educators to view themselves as leaders of systems-level change.

As senior manager of state transformation, Kyle supports state education agencies and their education stakeholders with building and engaging collaborative networks that target systems-level change.

Kyle has worked in a range of contexts on supporting widespread application of education initiatives which has fueled my interest in finding ways to motivate and empower educators and leaders to engage in change efforts. Kyle is finishing his EdD program with a focus on autonomy-supportive environments and their impact on teacher agency and the collaborative culture of arts education networks. Prior to that, Kyle was an arts educator in Nashville Public Schools and Fairfax County, VA.

An avid runner, Kyle loves picking up new hobbies and learning new skills, which usually includes finding a new musical instrument to learn.
