As senior manager of strategic partnerships and development, Josh oversees grant projects and contributes to writing and research for publications. He also supports external engagements, emphasizing relationship cultivation with key stakeholders and funders for strategic execution.
Josh brings experience in community engagement and relationship building to his role, having built and applied those skills while earning his master’s degree in social work and going on to start his own nonprofit, On the Move Art Studio. His nonprofit became nationally recognized and has brought free arts classes directly into the neighborhoods of over 70,000 at-risk youth using a mobile art studio. Josh served as the executive director for seven years and most recently served as the board president.
In his leisure time, Josh indulges in the writings of Malcolm Gladwell and explores a diverse range of genres and topics through podcasts, with favorites including Radiolab, Revisionist History and Hidden Brain for their captivating and insightful content.
