Chief Financial Officer, Harvard Graduate School of Education

Juliana Wong is the chief financial officer of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She brings extensive experience in long-range financial planning, budget strategy and management, strategic planning, process reengineering, risk management and the development and oversight of sound financial systems.

Prior to joining the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Wong spent five years at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute, where she served as associate dean of finance and chief financial officer. Previously, she was director of finance at the Harvard Art Museums and associate vice president of finance at Jobs for the Future, where she directed the grants management, financial systems, accounting and contracts teams.

Wong’s earlier tenure at Harvard University included a decade in central administration. She began her career in the private sector as a senior financial analyst and associate in Salomon Smith Barney’s — now Citigroup’s — investment banking division, specializing in mergers and acquisitions in New York and Hong Kong.

Wong earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
