Beginning in 2017, three school districts in North Dakota transformed their education system by designing and implementing a personalized, competency-based learning approach. This transformation, driven by a commitment to deeper, more flexible learning experiences, aimed to create equitable outcomes for learners by transforming conventional education systems.
