As manager of development and strategic advancement, Abby advances the KnowledgeWorks mission by overseeing grant reporting and contributing to writing and research for proposals. She also supports organizational strategy by researching the student-centered learning landscape, emphasizing relationship development with key partners and funders for strategic execution. She strategically collaborates with internal staff to help execute the organization’s strategic plan.

The current education system is failing our children. It is our responsibility to make the changes necessary for all children to thrive.

Abby brings experience in writing and relationship building to her role, having previously worked for a community mental health organization and a therapeutic foster care agency. Abby earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University, majoring in organizational leadership with an area of focus in social work, and is a graduate of Leadership Kentucky. After joining the KnowledgeWorks team, she earned her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential, demonstrating her commitment to the highest standards of ethics, competence and service to the philanthropic sector.

In her leisure time, Abby enjoys spending quality time with her children, kayaking, reading and traveling.
