“I believe that the only way to yield high-quality outcomes when it comes to addressing disparities in education is through policy changes.”

In his role at KnowledgeWorks, Kevin assists in the development and execution of advocacy strategy. He focuses on relationship building – including recruitment, maintenance and cultivation of grassroots and grasstops leaders in partner states.

An informed therapeutic crisis intervention trainer, practitioner and behavioral health professional, Kevin previously served as the club director of the Sheakley Boys and Girls Club. With his extensive experience with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati in a variety of capacities, Kevin brings experience in yielding high-quality outcomes and expertise in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention to the policy world. He is passionate about studying the impact of systems and policies on marginalized groups and developing action plans to ensure equal access and resources first and then making strides toward equity.

Kevin, an avid UC basketball fan who graduated from Xavier University, enjoys being active, especially athletics. But he’s also a self-proclaimed “huge nerd,” from science to Marvel and DC.
