The 2nd annual Personalized Learning Leadership Conference, “Transforming Classroom Instruction with Personal and Student-Centered Practices,” will take place on June 26-26, 2019, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This conference is intended for district and building leadership teams as well as instructional leaders, teachers and coaches and has been structured to model personalized learning practices throughout the day.
KnowledgeWorks Director of Teaching and Learning Robin Kanaan is presenting Building Instructional Coaching Capacity for Personalized Learning on June 25 from 9 am – 12 pm. Establishing a culture of growth mindset aligned to the vision or “why”, student agency at the heart of learner-centered practices, flexible learning environments and learning pathways where learners have voice and choice in achieving mastery of the targets – all critical elements to be considered and investigated. This three-hour session will provide participants a hands-on introduction to the goals of the program, complete with ideas perfect for immediate transfer back to schools.
