KnowledgeWorks and Ohio Education Matters recently announced a $75,000 research grant from the Swiss-based Oak Foundation to explore ways new technologies can help scale personalized learning environments for K-12 students with learning differences worldwide.
“Today, more than 1 billion people in the world live with some form of “disability” that disrupts learning. Approximately 10 million students struggle in United States public schools as a result of their own learning profile being incompatible with the curriculum and instructional models being used in their schools.”
