Education Policy
The National Advocacy and Partnerships team works with leaders at the national and state levels to craft innovative educational strategies that provide quality learning experiences for all students. We accomplish this by:
- Partnering with national policymakers and thought leaders to capture the innovative state strategies and on-the-ground lessons from KnowledgeWorks’ subsidiaries into a federal policy agenda that promotes college and career readiness for all.
- Working with state education and thought leaders to implement state policies, including School Improvement Grants and ESEA Waivers, which encourage innovation and expand access to high quality educational programs in partnership with KnowledgeWorks’ subsidiaries.
- Developing partnerships, on behalf of KnowledgeWorks and its subsidiaries, to ensure more students benefit from innovative learning environments.
In order to create a World of Learning, the KnowledgeWorks’ National Advocacy and Partnerships (NAP) group works to inform the discourse and remove barriers to improving education and educational outcomes. Following is a collection of policy blog posts published by the NAP team pertaining to timely and critical national and state education initiatives.
