Tinkering School

I used to watch TED Talks all the time.  Unfortunately, I have recently fallen out of that practice but I am across one that I just had to share.  Below is a video about The Tinkering School.  The concept behind the school maps directly to the Maker Economy driver of change in the 2020 Forecast: Creating the Future of Learning.  The school allows children to “figure things out by fooling around.”

The Tinkering School provides learners with an authentic learning experience that allows them to celebrate, analyze, and learn from their failures through collaboration, building, and play.  Are there other examples of learning environments that provide the same experiences?
