For-Profit Higher Education

Last week’s National Journal Expert Education Blog asked if the rules proposed by the Education Deaprtment to crack down on higher education abuses are in the best interests of students? This complicated topic points to the very real problem of students taking on massive amounts of debt in an effort to earn a higher ed degree and the employment incentives of admissions recruiters compensated solely on the number of students they can enroll.
