Grassroots School Funding

Guest post by Eric Grant

Here’s a wonderful idea… start an online campaign to raise money for schools in the US and in developing nations. Next, encourage individual donations, group donations, corporate donations, and everything in between, and offer each donor the chance to choose where the money is applied. Finally, encourage viral spread of the idea by offering prizes to any individual or organization that gets others to visit and donate.

The LitLiberation project is a grassroots, collective action, participatory, and just plain good idea – and anyone can effectively compete for the prizes based upon his or her ability to spread the word rather than his or her bankroll. The contest lasts for the month of October.
