As Vice President of Strategic Thinking and Chief of Staff, Meredith Yacso is responsible for strategic planning, evaluating new opportunities for the foundation, internal operations, branding and communications.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Meyer worked at Procter & Gamble as a Brand Manager, managing businesses within P&G's Household Needs and Health Care divisions. She has worked across geographies, successfully developing business and marketing plans for brands like Tide, Oral-B toothbrushes, and PUR water filtration in the US, Asia, Eastern Europe, and South America. Meyer's work has received several pre-eminent marketing industry awards, including a Bronze Effie for achievement in advertising, and a Silver Anvil for excellence in public relations.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Meyer graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The Ohio State University with dual degrees in Business Administration and Political Science.

Outside of her work with the foundation, Meyer is a member of the Junior League of Cincinnati, a coach and youth mentor, and she sits on the board of Advisors Helping Agencies, a young professional organization that consults on a volunteer basis with non-profit organizations in Cincinnati.

Meyer is working with KnowledgeWorks Foundation because she shares its strong belief that the most effective change results from innovative collaborations: "Big challenges like those facing our education system can only be solved when people from all types of organizations and backgrounds bring together their collective expertise and passion. I am looking forward to the opportunity to work together with teachers, students, community stakeholders, multinational corporations, and government agencies to collaboratively impact education in the U.S."
