Byron McCauley, Director of Public Relations for Knowledgeworks, will present the Department of Mass Media's Michael Davis Lecture February 29th at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
The Michael Davis Lecture recognizes the contributions of African-Americans in the media and honors the memory of Michael Davis, a journalism student in the Department of Mass Communications who died in a hazing accident. The lecture, part of the University's Black History Month activities, is scheduled for noon in Rose Theatre in the Grauel Building and is free and open to the public.
The panel at this event will explore the potential of collective impact to drive significant communitywide progress on serious challenges and the important role social entrepreneurs play in developing and testing new solutions to community challenges.
