An additional three large high schools from three separate urban districts in Ohio will have the financial resources they need to implement their plans for smaller, more personalized and effective schools through more than $2.7 million in grant awards announced today by KnowledgeWorks Foundation.

Cleveland Municipal School District (CMSD) has been selected by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and KnowledgeWorks Foundation to begin planning for a district-wide strategy to transform high school education and create small, more effective learning environments.
