Results for Communities and States

KnowledgeWorks has always aimed to change not just isolated schools but also the structure within which those schools operate. We know that’s the only way innovation can evolve into standard operating procedure – the only way to realize the promise of education for every child.

Our goal is to effect meaningful policy and structural change at local and state levels, and to ensure change can survive across time and political shifts.

We are achieving that goal by working with policymakers and thought leaders, bringing research and collaborative thinking to bear on restructuring and re-envisioning the entire education ecosystem.

Communities

Cincinnati
Strive, our robust P-16 coalition in Greater Cincinnati, has established data-driven processes that are already increasing efficiency and accountability among all those working on behalf of children in the region. see Communities Results >>

States

Ohio
In Ohio, where our work began, we have engaged state leaders across the spectrum in ongoing dialogue about the future of Ohio schools. What’s more, we’ve been active in providing research, ideas, public input – and in some cases the elbow grease –that is needed to push policy change forward. The result has been dramatic policy breakthroughs that touch every part of the pipeline from preschool to adult education. see State Results >>

Indiana
Working with Indiana state government and the Center of Excellence in Leadership and Learning, we’ve been part of a coordinated statewide approach to using education reform as a means to propel economic development. see State Results >>
